Profile: Paul Mengert, AMG

Starting with his education, Paul Mengert believes that giving back to a community is among the best things anyone can ever do. Paul is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Association Management Group (AMG), a firm he founded back in 1984 in his hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina, where he also majored in Political Science and Communications at the University of North Carolina. However, there is a lot more to him than being the CEO of a successful firm.

Back in 1990, Paul Mengert earned a Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) certification and in 2005, he graduated from Harvard Business School in 2005. He has also served on the national senior faculty for the Community Associations Institute.

And for Paul Mengert, AMG is just part of his life. He also President of the Carolinas Chapter of the Community Associations Institute, where he teaches classes about homeowner's associations. These classes are approved as continuing education credits by the South Carolina Department of Real Estate, the North Carolina Board of Realtors and other groups, including the California Department of Real Estate. The reason so many organizations trust the information that Paul imparts in these classes due to his extensive experience in the real estate industry and the reputation he has developed as a highly successful expert and authority on the best association management techniques.
